First Snow of 2009!

After a two hour drive home thru the first snow of 2009, I did get a chance to get a few good shots before we lost daylight.
------------

Clearing the snow in the "Max" is much more fun then driving in it!

No birds at home...

------------

The next day Got'cha! got to play outside in a winter wonderland!

He loves to eat snow (as do all my dogs).

He is looking all grown up lately... except for that snow on his nose :)

Got'cha! (photos by Oksana)

During my breaks at Speedoggie Camp Got'cha! and I played a little.

Still his favorite toy is the one Auntie Gayle bought for his daddy Mayhem!

I expecially like his expression in this shot!

Death Of A Number Cone

One of Got'cha!'s favorite pastimes is renumbering my courses... so this is a familiar site in the agility field when he's in it.

Pulling the grass up thru the hole in the number cone is also a great game.

The young hunter, proud of his kill... flaunts it to the pack.. "See! see what I found! This is the best toy in the yard... really it is! Na na na na na"

Suddenly front out of now where... the prize treasure is snatched away by the "Kwazy One"!

And in his customary ritualistic dance, the "Kwazy One" teaches the young Blue Dog a lesson in cone killing

In a last ditch attempt by the young Blue Dog, he tries to make the Kwazy One feel guilty for stealing his treasure...

From the looks of it... the young Blue Dog's attempts to provoke sympathy from the Kwazy One had no effect. I suspect a lesson was learned :)

Cajun, Dig-It! and Got'cha!

After a very rough night, Cajun was rushed to the vet this morning where they tapped his chest and drained off fluid that was making him uncomfortable. It was also decided that we would start him on chemo again. We were successful the first time around, some 18 months ago. Now this new tumor in his lung is making it hard for him to breath when he is lying down. Chemo seems to be our best shot at this point to shrink it.
The trouble for me is not always knowing if I'm making the right decisions for him. But after watching him attack the baby pool yesterday and splash all the water out of it in a matter of minutes... I decided he had too much life left in him for me to give up on him.
So today, after the chest tap and his first round of chemo, he is a bit tired but he took time out to watch his baby puppies "Dig-It!" and "Got'cha!" play.

Got'cha! thinks everything Cajun does is amazing.

Wild eyes and a BIG smile! - Note the similarity in size of these two dogs. Diggity is 11 months... Got'cha! is 9 weeks!

Wild eyes AND teeth... and a right hook to the head!

Perfect Angels.

This one is for Gayle :)

This one too!!!
