Speedoggie at Agility University

- Tricked Out Puppy Class:

A classes specifically designed to condition your puppy/young dog both mentally and physically, safely and without boring or potentially dangerous repetition. The puppy Frankie is keeping from my current litter, "Kiss~Me," will star in this class as demo dog extraordinary giving us the opportunity to demonstrate the techniques with a very young puppy. We will be showing the skills and potential training situations, detailing how to successfully work thru each situation. The class is designed to be a puppy/young dog version of our internationally acclaimed Fit To Be Tricked Program. We are looking forward, for the first time, to customizing the program for puppies and young dogs, to get them started out with confidence, better proprioception and core strength as well as presenting the foundations of many of the skills needed in canine performance sports.

- Fit To Be Tricked Class:

Our famous fitness, body awareness and skill development program. The Fit To Be Tricked (FTBT) Program was written about in an extended series of articles in Clean Run Magazine as well as other dog sport publications and presented internationally to hundreds of canine participants of all shapes and sizes (from toys to giant breeds) with fantastic results. Freestyle, agility and obedience dogs alike have all found the skills in this program to be a major part of their training routines. FTBT focuses on improving your dogs performance skills for both obstacle AND course navigation by not only getting your dog in better physical condition and improving core strength but also by improving your teams overall skill proficiency without having to drill your dog on equipment. All of the training exercises can be done indoors, out of the cold/snow! From contacts (running/moving/stopping) to jumping, weavepoles to startlines, heeling, dressage to herding, this program covers it all... and then some!

We are very excited to be doing multiple classes with Agility U. This new and unique form of training is a natural extension of our already successful Speedoggie Training Program. We are confident that our current clients and class participants as well as students new to our program will enjoy the format, information and convenience of in-home training presented in the classes.

Our techniques are thoroughly tested and proven. Designed with our well known physical therapist Ria Acciani of Advanced Canine Rehabilitation Center (http://www.dogpt.com) specifically for dogs training a multitude of sports. Advanced Canine Rehabilitation has traveled internationally with the USA World Team and have worked on many of the top dogs participating at USDAA and AKC National events. They also are senior presenters at the American Physical Therapy Association's National Conference.
