Improved Contact Performances for the New Year!

Speedoggie/Total Team Conditioning For Consistant Contact Performances 2019

Is your dog jumping off the contacts?

Stopping at the top of the A Frame to ‘admire the view’?

Inching/creeping down the contact planks?

Using the table as a springboard?

The skills taught in this class will help you teach your dog a more consistant and reliable contact end performance. The exercises covered in the class focus on building greater generalization skills to your performance so your dog will be able to apply what they learn in practice to the competition environment. This class also covers common mistakes made in contact end position training as well as individual team problem solving. This class is designed for all size and breeds of dogs.

End position skills and functional fitness exercises that do not need to be taught on actual contact equipment can greatly improve your dog’s ability to perform contacts quickly, accurately and consistently. Practicing your dogs contact performance position away from competition equipment allows you to disconnect any stress and/or confusion your dog may have during the learning phases of your training, away from the competition equipment. Once the contact end position is perfected, the behavior can be easily be transferred to the contact equipment.

In this class we not only work on building the physical strength and conditioning for achieving your preferred contact performance but we also offer training tips on how to use these exercises to aid in your dog’s generalization of these skills to the actual contact equipment.

This class is open to all levels. No equipment is required and props can be made out of household items. All exercises can be performed in the size of an average living room (carpet or anti slip mat/yoga mat is recommended for traction).

All Speedoggie/Total Team online classes feature:
- Downloadable written instructions and FAQs for each lesson
- Step-by-step explanations of each weeks exercises
- Video demo including slow motion and screen capture to show details
- Easy to follow critique of homework videos for all working participants

Power

Speed

Flexibility

This exciting new class starts October 8th. The classroom has already been opened with bonus pre-class materials so sign up today!

Exercises in this class are designed by top Veterinarian Rehabilitation Specialists.

This class starts this MONDAY. The classroom has already been opened with bonus pre-class materials so sign up today!

The time to teach your dogs rehabilitation exercises is when they are healthy and uninjured. Not only will this class help condition and strengthen your dog for improved performance, they can also help to prevent future injury. All the exercises in this class are used for warm up and cool down routines for training and competition as well.

This is a 4 week online Facebook class containing demo videos and written detailed explanations of every exercise. The classroom and all of its materials will remain available to all participants for one full year after the completion of class (in read only format). All class members can post their own practice videos for critique as well as participant in all discussions. This class is designed for any size, age, and breed of dog. This class uses no special equipment. We focus not only on the details of exercises themselves but also on the importance of correct body position, placement and timing of rewards, and breed/size specific and handler specific needs.

The goal of this class is to train yourself and your dog how to perform these exercises on a non injured, physically sound dog so you can develop a technique that is safe and controlled.  Rehabilitating your dog back from an injury is complicated enough without having to deal with the stress of trying to teach yourself and your dog some new skill. Training new physical exercises while dealing with a dog who could be uncomfortable, off loading, or guarding pain, can complicate your dog’s recovery. The time to teach these kinds of rehabilitation exercises to your dog is when they are sound and healthy and before they are injured. After taking this class if your dog was to ever needs to rehabilitate from an injury you and he will already know how to perform many of the most common rehabilitation exercises.

Start Date: October 8, 2018
Length of Course: 4 Week Facebook Class (Class page with all course material and videos available in read only format to participants for one year after completion of class)
Cost: $100

DOG FALLING OFF DOGWALK!!!!

Luckily the dog was not injured from this fall.
BUT, now that I have your attention….

Canine Therapeutic Fitness Online Course

Don’t wait until your dog has been diagnosed with an injury to teach them the exercises most often used in rehabilitation by top Veterinarian Specialists.

Not only do these exercises help condition and strengthen your dog to help prevent injury but they are also useful for warm up and cool down routines for training and competition. And of course, if your dog ever needs to rehabilitate from an injury, he will already know how to perform many of the most common rehabilitation exercises. Oh and for what its worth, the dog in the photo above was trained in these exercises all of his life. Which is most likely why he was not injured from this fall off the dogwalk.

In this 4 week online Facebook class we will cover some of the most common conditioning/rehabilitation exercises used today. The goal of this class is to train yourself and your dog how to perform these exercises on a non injured, physically sound dog so you can develop a technique that is safe and controlled. We focus not only on the details of exercises themselves but also on the importance of correct body position, placement and timing of rewards, and breed/size specific and handler specific needs.

This class is designed for any size, age, and breed of dog. This class uses no special equipment. Each exercise is explained from beginning thru advanced stages.

Start Date: October 8, 2018
Length of Course: 4 Week Facebook Class (Class page with all course material and videos available in read only format to participants for one year after completion of class)
