Improve your dog’s ability to jump expertly and fluidly with functional fitness exercises to strengthen, balance and coordinate your dogs body.
There’s a lot more to jumping well than simply keeping the bars up. A skilled jumper has the knowledge and physical ability to navigate jumps speedily and efficiently with a minimum of ground impact, enabling the dog to have a long, successful agility career while minimizing the possibility of jump related injuries or stress.
These exercises have been developed from years of experience creating thoughtful, talented and extremely successful jumpers and can benefit all agility dogs with exercises that target strength and flexibility in the muscle groups needed for jumping as well as improving the dog’s ability to understand, gauge and navigate jumps in all their forms. This is excellent for the dog who has jumping issues as well as for teaching and maintaining great jumping form in any agility dog.
The exercises can be done without specialized equipment, although in some cases using exercise disc or other inflatables increases the workout. There is no actual jumping of agility jumps in this class, only conditioning exercises to build jumping ability. All workouts can be done in the size of an average living room.
